Dr. Nassiry is a double Board Certified Internal Medicine physician (ABIM, NBPAS) who has practiced in California since 2011. He graduated from Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. During his medical school, he performed clinical research in heart failure and epidemiological studies of the disease. After completing medical school, and having been exposed to research and disease, he completed another year of study to obtain his Masters in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He realized that even with the best of medical care and technology, patients were unable to break out of the cycle of recurring illness. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at the UCLA program at St Mary’s Medical Center in Long Beach and Harbor Medical Center in Torrance, CA
Confronted with the challenges of keeping patients healthy in the long-term, he began researching the scientific basis for achieving optimal health and preventing disease during his hospital practice. He started to refocus on how to prevent illness and promote health, rather than just treat disease. He began regenerative medicine studi es and has been working with integrative disciplines for the best health outcomes. After several years of training, research on health, prevention of disease and promotion of health, Dr. Nassiry redirected his view towards patient approach and treatment.
Dr. Nassiry provides his patients with a number of services, including general medical care at Vitality Integrative Center in Orange County and West Covina. He has worked with various approaches including concierge medicine, hospital medicine, regenerative medicine and immune therapy.
Dr. Nassiry’s strength lies in his skillset of diagnostics and innovative approach to treatment. He is committed to an integrative medicine approach treating the whole patient, mind and body. This allows for effective treatment plans that address the underlying cause of a patient’s symptoms.
